What a fun idea! I would love to hear your answers to these questions too. 😊

1. I would recommend Dead Poets Society, Wuthering Heights, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society and Persuasion. All lovely autumn reads! πŸ“š

2. A perfect Autumn day for me would be a stroll to the bookshops, coffee in a nice cafe and then home to curl up with a book, cup of tea and a bowl of crumble!

3. Ooo.... this is hard! I always love to watch Old Hollywood movies and rewatch Jane Austen adaptations during this season, but the Anne of Green Gables movies are a must watch for me during this time. πŸ‚

When it hits end of November it's Christmas time! πŸ˜‚

Such good recommendations!! I actually put the Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society on my TBR a while back. 😊

That’s a very lovely sounding day! What is a β€œbowl of crumble”? Sounds very fascinating. 🀩

I’ve had a hankering to rewatch the Anne movies!

Aw, thank you for asking! I think any cozy classic like Anne of Green Gables or Little Women would be a good fall book.

As to my perfect fall day, I would love to be snuggled up in quilts with a cup of tea under a tree with a book. πŸ₯° And just enjoying time with my family on outings!

I’m not sure if have any fall movie recs. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Thank you for reading!

A crumble is a very traditional English dessert which we like to have especially in autumn and winter. You place fruit in a dish, cooked down a little beforehand, and then you add the crumble topping on top which is made from butter, flour and sugar. It then goes really crispy and goes well with ice cream, custard or cream! You can make apple crumble, blackberry crumble or rhubarb crumble. It's not traditional, but I have made a banana crumble before and it is so good! Would highly recommend.😊

Sounds like a lovely autumnal day for you too, Anne of Green Gables and Little Women are perfect books. πŸ₯°

1. Fall makes me think of the Anne books, Little Women, and James Herriot’s books.

2. A slow and quiet start to the morning. Reading time. Chill in the air and outside time with family. Pumpkin or banana bread and coffee. Maybe throw college football on in the background, because it feels fall-ish. :)

3. You’ve Got Mail (a favorite for any time of year), All Creatures Great and Small (the new one), or the 1994 Little Women.

And while I love Christmas music, I like waiting until after Thanksgiving to start listening. It makes it feel more magical! πŸŽ„

I still need to read James Herriot!! Mom and Lauren both recommend the series very highly. I really enjoyed the TV show, though!

That sounds like a very relaxing, fall-ish day! πŸ™ƒ

Oof, another mention of You’ve Got Mail. Apparently, I really really need to watch it!

I agree with you on the Christmas music. πŸ₯°

Nicholas Ralph narrated some of the books and they are great! I did this as audiobooks most recently and highly recommend!

1. I don't know about any specific books... but fall gives me very historical-fiction vibes, so probably that!

2. A perfect fall day... hmm, I'd probably say staying at home, but outside, with the weather cool enough to wear a sweater but also sunny enough that it's not chilly, with fall leaves EVERYWHERE, haha. I'd ideally be drinking an iced coffee, writing/reading, or spending time with family.

3. Right now I'm watching the entire Dukes of Hazzard series, so probably that! But I also feel like the Shiloh movies are very fall-esque, and I really want to rewatch those.

(Maybe controversial, but I can do without most Christmas music until probably early/mid-December...)

Historical fiction is one of my two top favorite genres!! It’s interesting that fall gives you his-fic vibes. To me, spring and summer is the time to read those books. πŸ˜„

I’ve never heard of the Dukes of Hazzard but it looks like a really fun series!

😱 I have never heard anyone say they could put off listening to Christmas music β€˜til December! Wow! Very controversial indeed. πŸ˜‰πŸ˜

1. Hmm. I don't usually pick specifically fall-themed books... usually the fall and the start of a new school year means diving into writing for me, so most of the books I read and recommend are related to my writing project! This year, it's World War II historical fiction and biographies.

2. I'd stay home and have a combination of spending time with my family, reading aloud, talking, and drinking tea, and having quiet time myself reading and writing! I'd like it best if it was cool, but still warm enough to sit outside for a while!

3. Again, I don't tend to pick specifically fall-related movies! I've re-watched several good World War II movies lately: Bonhoeffer: Pastor. Spy. Assassin., Sabina (Tortured for Christ, the Nazi Years), Unbroken, and A Hidden Life.

I think Christmas music seems more special if I only listen to it after Thanksgiving!

I love WWII historical fiction!! It’s one of my favorite genres to read. 🀩

Our perfect day sounds very similar!

Out of the list of movies, I’ve seen Sabina. πŸ₯° It was really good!

Thank you for reading! πŸ’›

1. Haha I literally just posted about this lol. My top pick would be "Anne of Windy Poplars" by L.M. Montgomery.

2. Hmmm this is a hard one.... I'd probably spend it reading while watching the rain outside and drinking tea.

3. Ooooh always "You've got Mail" or "Sleepless in Seattle". Actually, I'll watch those movies any time of year, lol.

I literally listen to Christmas music all year! It's never too early! πŸ˜†
