A Cold Drink to Sip on While Reading this Summer
watermelon + banana + apple juice = easy and delicious smoothie
Happy summer everyone!! I hope you’ve been enjoying yourself and have been able to do whatever you wanted to do during these months (sleeping in? getting some extra school done? trips?).
I found this really fun, really easy smoothie recipe that you can sip on while you’re reading on your back porch or by the pool!1 It only requires three ingredients! My family has yet to purchase watermelon from the grocery store but as soon as we do, this recipe is a must.
Summer Smoothie (one serving)
150g (or about 5.5 oz) of peeled and chopped watermelon
1 small banana, peeled and sliced
100ml (or about 3.5 oz) of cold apple juice
Blend everything together until smooth and serve immediately.
You can add a little Greek yogurt to thicken it or even ice cubes if you prefer little ice bits!
Enjoy!
I’d love to hear what you think of this recipe! Have you made it yet? If you don’t like watermelon smoothies, what kind do you like?
Don’t forget to ❤️, comment, and share. 😊
See you in next week’s email!
