-D.E. Stevenson. Why? Her books are just so cute & sweet. Plus, they are all set in England (I love English ANYTHING🤭), either before, during, or after WWII, which is one of my favorite periods in History. 😊
-Physical books all the way! I like hardcovers better, but softcovers are more affordable, so I definitely own more softcovers.
-Hmmm, I think the 1980s Anne of Green Gables (and the sequel!), the 1995 Pride and Prejudice (ahhh I just love it so much🥹), and the first Narnia movie (The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe).
I cannot pick just one favorite author—that is mission impossible! However, a few of my favorite authors are Sara Brunsvold, Nancy Rue, and Lisa Samson. What I love most about these authors is the way they wrestle with what living out faith looks like in the pages of their stories. Specific things I love about each one are how Sara Brunsvold weaves life lessons into her stories in the most gracious and gentle way; Nancy Rue's completely relatable, lifelike, quirky characters; and Lisa Samson's amazing character voices (they have so much personality!).
Physical for sure, and usually softcovers, but hardcovers are fine too—they just seem more luxurious.
